  • The Indigo Quarry
  • The Ancient Ruins
  • The Glass Desert
  • The Wilds

These slimes only appear at night and if you want to keep them alive on your ranch, you'll need to keep them in the dark. To do this, you'll either need to put their corral in The Grotto (as it's in a cave) or buy a Solar Shield for their outdoor corral. Additionally, they can fly away, so you'll need to put Air Nets on your corral.

Favourites: Cuberry (food) and Night Light (toy).

Phosphor Slime

  • The Indigo Quarry
  • The Wilds
  • Veggies

These slimes are heavily radiated (if you hadn't guessed already) and so being in close proximity to them will damage you.

Favourites: Oca Oca (food) and Power Cell (toy).

Rad Slime

  • The Moss Blanket
  • The Indigo Quarry
  • The Glass Desert
  • The Wilds
  • Meat

Regularly explodes, which can damage you. You can tell if it's close to exploding as the cracks on its body will shine more brightly and it's a brighter red. Shooting water at Boom Slimes can delay their explosions for a short time.

Favourites: Briar Hen (food) and Bomb Ball (toy).

Honey Slimes produce Honey plorts that are so tasty that other slimes are drawn to them from even further away increasing the risk of accidentally creating Tarr Slimes. Make sure you keep these slimes safely contained with High Walls and Air Nets on your corrals to prevent them from getting out and other slimes from getting in.

Favourites: Mint Mango (food) and Buzzy Bee (toy).

  • Water

Puddle Slimes can only survive when in water, so you'll need to keep them at The Docks, in the river at Mochi's Manor, or in the pond at Viktor's Lab. They also only produce plorts if there are fewer than four other slimes near them.

Favourites: Rubber Ducky (toy).

Puddle Slime

  • The Indigo Quarry
  • Veggies

Found in the Crustal Volcano and Ash Island area of the Indigo Quarry specifically.

Similar to Rock Slimes, the sharp spikes on these slimes can damage you. Additionally, they will cause spikey crystals to grow around them that also cause damage. However, you can splash these crystals with water to get rid of them.

Favourites: Odd Onion (food) and Crystal Ball (toy).

Hunter Slimes can become invisible. Additionally, they can detect their prey from great distances so ensure you keep them safely in their corral with High Walls and Air Nets to avoid them decimating your chickens. If you make a Hunter Largo, be warned that it will always be feral until you tame it.

Favourites: Roostro (food) and Stuffed Chicken (toy).

  • The Ancient Ruins
  • The Glass Dessert

Quantum Slimes can create ghostly copies of themselves and can swap places with these, making them highly likely to escape their corrals. The less agitated it is, the fewer ghosts it creates. Splashing Quantim Slimes with water or feeding them will delay them swapping places with their ghosts.

Favourites: Phase Lemon (food) and Puzzle Cube (toy).

Quantum Slime

  • The Glass Desert
  • Ash

Similar to Water Slimes, Fire Slimes require a specific environment to survive - they need to be kept in ash from an Incinerator. You'll need to throw food into the Incinerator to burn it up and create ash, which both keeps the slimes alive and feeds them. Fire Slimes can cause damage to other slimes and send them flying, but you can douse them in water if needed.

Favourites: Charcoal Brick (toy).

Fire Slime

Dervish Slimes can whip up cyclones that can cause chaos on the ranch by tossing everything around, so ensure you keep them secure in their corrals with High Walls and Air Nets. The less agitated they are, the less likely they are to create these cyclones.

Favourites: Prickle Pear (food) and Gyro Top (toy).

Dervish Slime

Tangle Slimes can use their vines to reach things outside of their corrals, so ensure they're not Close to other slime corrals (to avoid them eating their plorts) and away from your chickens. Additionally, they produce pollen that can cause other slimes to sneeze and make them more agitated.

Favourites: Painted Hen (food) and Sol Mate (toy).

The sparkliness of Mosaic Slimes attracts other slimes towards them, potentially causing Largo or worse, Tarr, if they ingest their plorts. Keep them secure in corrals and away from other slimes, and if you keep them in the Grotto it will prevent this happening at all due to the lack of sunlight. Additionally, they can create glints in the air that can burst into flame, but you can douse these with water to get rid of them.

Favourites: Silver Parsnip (food) and Disco Ball (toy).

All Saber Slimes you encounter will be Largos, and most likely feral too. You'll have to be careful when taking them back to your ranch. Ensure they're secure in a corral with High Walls and an Air Net as they can jump high and are predators.

Favourites: Stego Buddy (toy).

Glitch Slimes cannot be captured in your Vacpack or kept in corrals. They are only found in the Slimeulation. They can take on the form of other slimes or items, but much like Ditto from Pokemon, can be discerned by their derpy incorrect face. Sucking them up in the Vacpack or using the Debug Spray will revert them back to their normal form. As they do not eat, they do not produce plorts.

Gold Slimes are super rare and will flee if you get too close, eventually despawning, so you need to be super careful to not get too close to them. Gold Slimes cannot be stored in the Vacpack but much like Largos, can be held by the Vacpack (and will not despawn like this). They cannot be put in corrals but can be kept on a Slime Stage, but will get loose if they are agitated. As their only food source is also very rare it's difficult to keep them happy.

Favourites: Gilded Ginger (food).

Largo Slimes are created when a slime eats a plort of another slime type, creating a hybrid that produces plorts of both slime types and shares the same features, food, and favourites as both. They cannot be stored in the Vacpack but can be held by it, so you can still take them to your ranch. Largos produce more plorts, but they're one step Closer to becoming Tarr Slimes, so they're high risk, high reward.
