Final Fantasy 14: AAC Cruiserweight M1 - Dancing Green Raid Walkthrough
Mar 31, 2025 am 10:23 AMFinal Fantasy 14 version 7.2 patch brings the return of the Paradise Raid series, this time a lightweight event. In this tournament, you will fight again with the fighters of Paradise, trying to stop the use of the beast soul, which endangers the life of the user.
Your first opponent is the party madman "Dancing Green", who uses the toad's ferocious beast soul to enhance his movement speed and strength. Below, we'll cover everything you need to know before fighting Dancing Green, including all his attacks, mechanics and how to avoid them.
Dancing Green Raid Strategy
The arena fighting Dancing Green is surrounded by instant deadly AOE . Be sure to avoid boss attacks.
Phase 1
Attack Name | type | Details |
---|---|---|
Dance | AOE | The dancing green side will light up visually , indicating that the area will be hit by AOE. Move to the other side of the boss to avoid damage. |
Double twist | AOE | The green side will light up a block-like visual . He then releases damage to that side twice , and then a third time to the opponent. To avoid this combo, stand on the opposite side of the first two AOEs and move to the other side to avoid the third attack. |
Four twists | AOE | This attack is the same as double twist, but before the final fifth release of AOE to the opposite side , it will release four AOEs in the direction indicated. The way to avoid it is the same as before. |
deep | Cone AOE tank killer | Attack two tanks with high damage cone AOE . Both tanks should stay away from the rest of the team and then use defense skills to mitigate this damage. Also, if you are not a tank, make sure you are not standing directly behind them . |
Dynamic floor | Grid AOE | The arena will be divided into checkerboards . Then, alternating blocks will become the target of AOE . To avoid this attack, stand between two adjacent blocks and switch between them every time AOE appears. |
Full rhythm | Overlay mark | Attack random players with overlay markers ; gather with them to disperse the damage of this attack . This attack will occur during dynamic flooring , so be sure to move collectively to avoid block AOE while resolving overlay markings. |
Disco Hell | AOE/Special | Inflict damage to the entire team and apply two burning baby burning debuffs . Meanwhile, several spotlights will start moving around the arena. When the Burning Baby Burning Debuff countdown ends, you will be trapped and dance . If you are not in the spotlight at this time, you will be hit by damage. As the countdown is close to completion, quickly move to a spotlight to avoid this damage. |
Celebrate the Good Time | AOE | Inflict damage to the entire team. Recovery with AOE. |
Riding the wind and waves | Mobile AOE | A series of square AOEs will begin moving the arena down from the north side , with a one-square safety gap in the middle. When the first group moves, the other group will start moving, with different gap positions . To avoid this attack, stay in the safe area until the AOE moves, and then quickly move to the security line of the next set of AOEs until it passes. |
The battle will enter the second stage when the dance green moves to the top of the arena and casts the entire set .
Phase 2
Dancing Green will continue to use all the attacks from the previous stage, as well as the following new attacks, from the full set, Paradise Mania Night and Let's Dance! start.
Attack Name | type | Details |
---|---|---|
All collection | special | Dancing Green will summon eight reserve dancers on the north wall of the arena. |
Fanatic Nights in Paradise | special | Dancing Green will connect with each backup dancer, and they will then point to their left or right . "Cool Value" will also appear. |
Let's dance! | AOE | The reserve dancers will create an AOE on the left or right side of the dancing green, depending on the direction they point. This will be repeated more than seven times. Successfully evading AOE will increase the cool value , while failure to evading AOE will decrease it. |
Let's pose! | AOE | After all the reserve dancers pose, the dance green will cause damage to the entire arena, which is inversely proportional to the cool value, the lower the damage . The higher the cool value, the less damage you will suffer. |
Frogs | AOE | Two frogs reserve dancers will appear on one side of the arena. They will each start to draw a rectangle , and upon completion, an AOE will be created in the same area. There are two possible modes: there is a safe area between two rectangles , or the rectangles overlap with safe areas on both sides . Watch the dancers move and avoid them. |
Eight shots | AOE tags | All players will be targeted by the AOE marker . Spread to avoid overlapping these marks. |
After eight beats, Dancing Green will not use any new mechanism. Instead, it will start combining them in different ways.
The combination of dynamic flooring and four twists means you need to carefully shuttle between the semi-area AOE and the alternating block AOE. Take the opportunity carefully to avoid being hit.
One of the trickier attacks in this battle is the combination of disco hell, four-step twist and frog swarm . There are a lot of things that happen during this series of attacks, so be extra careful when hiding them.
Keep fighting, and eventually, Dancing Green will be defeated, allowing you to continue your second lightweight paradise battle.
