Expand Your Palworld Arsenal: Unlocking Accessory Slots
Palworld starts you with only two accessory slots, but you can unlock two more for a total of four! This guide shows you how to get those extra slots and where to find the necessary Dog Coins. With so many accessories to equip, maximizing your slots is key.
Unlocking Extra Accessory Slots
To unlock the additional slots, head to the Medal Merchant in the Forgotten Island Church Ruins, south of Sakurajima Island. (A fast travel point is conveniently located nearby – use it to reach the statue of power within the ruins; the merchant is right there!)
The merchant sells two special items:
- Mysterious Accessory Box (100 Dog Coins): Unlocks your third accessory slot.
- Box of Mystery Accessories (1000 Dog Coins): Unlocks your fourth and final slot.
How to Earn Dog Coins
Dog Coins are earned in several ways:
- Loot Scrap Piles: Search the numerous scrap piles scattered throughout Palworld.
- Open Treasure Chests: These chests offer a chance to contain Dog Coins.
- Defeat Human Enemies: Both regular human enemies and bounty targets (glowing purple) can drop Dog Coins.
- Conquer Mimogs: These chest-like Pals drop Dog Coins (along with other resources). They'll flee if attacked, so consider surrounding them with wooden walls before engaging to prevent escape.
Now you're ready to equip all your favorite Pal accessories!
