A sequel has been confirmed, likely set for 2027, according to a recent SHIFTUP presentation.

The major exception to this PlayStation list is if we move beyond single-player titles and include Helldivers 2, which outshines them all with its peak of 458,709 players. Even now, after a major update, it still maintains around 100,000 players nightly, and its PC playerbase surpasses its PlayStation numbers.

Stellar Blade announced 1 million sales within a month of release, and I suspect more sales updates may be coming soon regarding this PC version, which is clearly performing well. The game is, unsurprisingly, the #1 seller on Steam right now. A new content pack was released alongside the port, but aside from that, I believe the recent free demo played a big role in convincing many to purchase the full game.

As for me, I highly recommend Stellar Blade. It was one of my favorite games of 2024, and I spent 50 hours across two playthroughs (NG is very well done). Since I finished it, the game has received several gameplay updates, including a photo mode and what must be close to 100 new outfits by now (maybe even more—I’m not sure that’s an exaggeration). Above all, it's simply a really fun action game, and I'm excited for the sequel. If you didn’t pick it up on PlayStation, give it a shot on PC.
