Date Everything has a lot of people to date. Or, well, objects to date. You would be amazed at just how many items you have in your home when you have to consider what they'd be like with a whole personality and body. There are more than enough to love, and plenty you'll want to hate, too. But it's not just objects.
Some of the Dateables in the game are a bit more secretive, the kind of people you would never think to seek out without a hint. And even then, it's a real headscratcher to find the Sassy Chap. He's a Dateable like no other in the game though, so he's worth seeking out.
How To Find The Sassy Chap
The Sassy Chap is one of a handful of secret Dateables in the game, hidden away in the menus of the game. Literally. He isn't a physical object, or anywhere in the 3D space of the game. He is quite unique in that regard.
The only way to learn about his existence is through Phoenicia. While giving you Roomers on other Dateables in the game, one can mention a particularly elusive one hiding in plain sight. This is the Sassy Chap, though it doesn't really narrow down where he's actually found. Turns out, he is literally in the palm of your hand.
The Sassy Chap is inside your phone. To awaken him, you have to put on the Dateviators and then bring up your phone. The credits will now appear as an option. Click on them and let them start scrolling. From here, you just hold the button to awaken a Dateable like you would any other time, and he springs to life.
How Does Dating The Sassy Chap Work?
With just about every other Dateable, they are a single individual. Harper and Dirk, and Curt and Rod excluded. But even still, you interact with them as individuals. Not so with the Sassy Chap. With all of Date Everything being a dating sim, and the Sassy Chap being a representation of that, the way to his heart is through a dating game show!
In this case, the Sassy Chap is the host, and you are the contestant. Except it isn't his heart you'll be aiming to win, it is that of every developer present in the studio throughout the game's development. A grand total of 33 developers, all available for love. Before you start getting worried, that doesn't mean there are 33 brand-new Dateables. They are each a conversation with Sassy Chap during the game show.
The game works like this. Each developer will ask you a question, which will lead to them loving you, becoming your friend, or hating you. Each of these endings has a numerical value. A Love ending with a developer gets you two points, a Friend ending gets you a single point, and a Hate ending gives you -1 point.
The goal is, ultimately, to get them to love you, which is represented through the Sassy Chap. A score of 30 points and above will guarantee you a Love ending. Below that will give you a Friend ending, and ending up with a negative score will have the Sassy Chap, and the developers by extension, Hate you.
With there being 33 developers, that means you can get a total of 66 points at the highest. However, that also means getting a friend ending with every developer will ultimately still give you a love ending. So if you manage to avoid all Hate endings, they will still love you.
Every Developer And Their Answers
So, getting through all 33 developers can take a while, and you're not really going to want to risk messing up some answers since it would take quite a while to go through them all again. So here is each and every answer that will lead you towards each ending with the respective developers.
