Microsoft also added Bing chat option to Windows. Since this icon appears every time you search, you may want to remove it. You can do this through the registry editor.
Note : We recommend backing up the current registry settings before making changes to the registry. Although the following methods should not cause any problems, always backing up just in case is a good habit.
- Use Win R keyboard shortcuts to open the Run dialog box.
- Enter regedit and press Enter .
- In Registry Editor, paste the following path and press Enter :

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer

Note : If you don't see the Explorer key in the registry editor, you may need to create it yourself. By right-clicking on the Windows key and selecting "New-> Key" and name it "Explorer".
Click this key and right-click on the blank space on the right. Select the "New->DWORD (32-bit) Value" option in the context menu.
Name the new value "DisableSearchBarSuggestions" and press Enter .
- Double-click the newly created value, change the Value Data field to 1, and then click the OK button.
Restart your computer to disable the Bing chat icon in the search window.
If you want to enable the Bing chat button again in the future, change the "Value Data" field of the DisableSearchBarSuggestions key to "0". Alternatively, delete the DWORD (32-bit) value mentioned in step #5 to re-enable the Bing chat icon.
