How to trade in Grow a Garden

Trading in Grow a Garden essentially involves gifting items at the moment. You’re not assured of receiving the desired plant or anything back, so it can be risky—especially if you're giving up something valuable.

Also, ensure that the 'Receive Gifts' option in your settings is toggled to 'On'; otherwise, other players won’t be able to send you gifts!

Gifting Crops

You can trade crops by gifting them to another player on the same server. To do this, pick the crop you wish to gift from your inventory so it appears in your avatar's hands. Walk towards the person you intend to gift the crop to, and a 'Gift' prompt should appear when you're near enough.

Use this gifting prompt, and you’ll have to wait for them to accept or decline your gift. If someone tries to gift you a crop, this is the notification you’ll see, and you just need to click 'Accept' to receive it:

Keep in mind, recipients aren’t obligated to return anything to you in exchange.

Gifting Seeds

Seeds can be gifted using Robux in the seed shop. At present, you cannot gift seeds through any other means or with Sheckles. You cannot purchase seeds and hand them over like crops, nor can you buy seeds and place them in someone else's garden.

If you wish to use Robux to gift seeds, select the seed in the Seed Shop (provided it's in stock), and then choose the 'Gift' icon beside the price listings:

Gifting Gear

Gear can also be gifted using Robux in the Gear Shop. To do this, locate the gear item you wish to gift in the Gear Shop menu (assuming it's available), and select the 'Gift' icon next to the price listings:

A list of players in your server will appear, and you simply need to select the intended recipient. Similar to other items, there are no regulations mandating that recipients must return anything after receiving your gift.

Alternatively, if you're playing with a friend, you can purchase a gear item from Eloise at the Gear Shop and place it in your friend's garden or use it within their garden. Just confirm your friend desires the item beforehand!

Gifting Eggs

You cannot gift eggs directly from Raphael at the Pet stall, but you can gift eggs when they’re included in bundles in the in-game shop. This process again requires Robux.

To gift an egg, open the in-game shop using the 'Shop' option on the left side of your screen. If eggs or egg bundles are listed, select the 'Gift' icon next to the item or bundle, and you’ll see a list of players in your server.

Like with other items, choose the recipient and remember that gifting eggs costs Robux, not Sheckles.
