Find the Heir in Oblivion continues after Deliver the Amulet, with tasks that require you to locate the son of Uriel Septim.
This quest sends you to Kvatch to start your search for Martin, but it quickly moves on to address another issue as you encounter your first Oblivion Gate.
As you’ll learn, this will lead into the next two Oblivion Remastered quests that form the bulk of this part of the game.

Head to Kvatch
The first major step in this quest is to go to Kvatch, where Martin is said to be found. Specifically, he'll be located inside the Chapel of Akatosh in Kvatch, though this location changes after you finish Breaking the Siege of Kvatch - a quest needed to complete Find the Heir.
As such, Martin won’t follow you until you secure Kvatch and return it to safety.
When you reach Kvatch—whether by fast travel or manually—you’ll notice the whole atmosphere of the area turns hellish red and orange, with embers falling everywhere.
Depending on how you arrived, you’ll talk to different characters. For instance, if you fast travel directly to Kvatch, an NPC named Hirtel will approach and warn you about what’s happened. But if you arrive near the entrance gate, you’ll speak to Savlian Matius instead.

He’ll then ask you to confirm if you’re capable of helping. You can do this now or later, but if you agree, he’ll point you toward the Oblivion Gate—the task you must complete before Martin will leave Kvatch.

With that in mind, complete Breaking the Siege of Kvatch first, then you can return to Martin—who relocates once that quest is finished—and finish the Find the Heir quest, as discussed below.
Where to find Martin after the siege of Kvatch
Find the Heir is essentially a brief quest focusing on traveling to Kvatch and finding Martin, but to fully complete it, you’ll need to beat Breaking the Siege of Kvatch.
After closing the Kvatch Oblivion Gate and finishing all objectives in the aforementioned quest, you can now find Martin, who will join you after clearing a path to the chapel.
To find Martin, he’ll either be in the Chapel of Akatosh—requiring you to speak to him right after completing the prerequisite quest—or he’ll be found in a camp down the road from Kvatch’s main city, where the fast travel marker loads you in (if you didn’t immediately speak to him after finishing the prior quest).
As a warning, I encountered an issue where Martin and the group heading to the camp from the chapel got stuck on some rocks outside of Kvatch’s Oblivion Gate. To fix this, I fast traveled to Weynon Priory and back, and then Martin appeared as expected in the camp outside Kvatch.
Once everything’s sorted, head over to Weynon Priory. Upon arrival, Eronor will approach to speak with you, and after this conversation, you’ll receive the quest ‘Weynon Priory’, starting a new set of steps and fully completing Find the Heir.
