God Disposes is the 7th DLC side quest in the Brushes With Death expansion of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the God Disposes DLC side quest.
- Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Kuttenberg
- Quest Giver: Master Voyta (Enigmatic Painter)
- Requirement: Own Brushes With Death DLC and finished Man Proposes
-
Reward:
Confessor trophy/achievement (if exhausting all dialogues with the painter) 2 Shield Symbols “Trefoil” & “Ivy argent”
- Quest Type: Side Quest
- Quest Description: The painter asked me to visit his dead friend Voyta’s grave and say a prayer for him, since nobody had done so in a while.
- DLC Required: Brushes With Death
Starting Location: God Disposes
After completing Man Proposes, you can stay in the conversation with the painter to ask follow-up questions, which will initiate the God Disposes quest. If you exit the dialogue early, you can speak to him again anytime.
Ask him this:
- “What is it?” -> starts God Disposes quest
- “Where is it?”
- “That must have been awful for you” (Reputation )
- “I still don’t know where the grave is”
- “Is that how you introduce yourself to others?”
- “The grave! Where is it?”
- (Say nothing)
- “Why haven’t you been there in so long?”
- “What should I say in the prayer?”
- (Say nothing)
- “Do you want to go with me?”
- “Alright, I’ll go there”.
Find the grave by the tree with three trunks near Mesoles
Head to Burnt Mezholes, located between the towns Bylany and Wysoka. It will appear on your map, in the southwest part of the Kuttenberg region.
Once you arrive in the area, the quest marker expands into a larger yellow search zone. Follow the small stream eastward until reaching the forest edge, then make a sharp right turn and walk straight ahead. You’ll come across a dark, leafless tree with 3 trunks at the forest’s edge. On the map, it's directly to the right of the “A” objective marker. Use /
to "Look at the tree", and then inspect the grave beneath it using the same buttons.
Grave Location:
Clean up Voyta’s grave
Approach the grave and press /
to clean it.
Pray at Voyta’s grave
Interact with the grave once more to pray. What you say here doesn't matter as no one will hear. Choose any options you prefer. I selected: “Open your merciful arms” > “Voyta was surely a good person” > “Please, help the painter”.
Return to the painter
MISSABLE TROPHY/ACHIEVEMENT: Confessor (the painter told you everything)
During the discussion with the painter, be sure to explore every dialogue option available to unlock this achievement. These will be accessible if you followed the choices outlined in Man Proposes.
Go back to where the quest started and speak with the painter. Note: if you previously informed him that Libor committed suicide, he may refuse to talk until the next day.
Choose these responses to earn the trophy/achievement:
- I visited Voyta’s grave
- Tell me more about Voyta and Libor
- Libor is the son of a bailiff?
- Does Libor know you’re a painter?
- What was Voyta like?
- I don’t understand why you blame yourself
- How did the argument end?
- Then what happened? (TIMED CHOICE)
- Kurva… (TIMED CHOICE)
- Do you think Voyta betrayed you?
- It’s up to God to decide –>
Confessor unlocked!
If you miss these dialogue options, it's likely because you made different choices in earlier quests. In that case, reload an autosave from before Man Proposes and follow the walkthrough precisely.
This completes the God Disposes quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Brushes with Death DLC.
