How to start the Potential Princess Sightings quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To initiate the Potential Princess Sightings quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to travel to the Lucky Clover Gazette, located at the northernmost point of Tabantha Frontier, northwest of Hyrule Ridge. The exact coordinates for the Gazette are (-3252, 1773, 0118).

Before proceeding, it's a good idea to complete the Oromuwak Shrine located east of the Gazette if you haven't already. Doing so will provide you with a nearby fast travel point.

We also recommend ensuring that Link has at least one and a half segments of stamina. Having a larger stamina wheel will make completing this portion much easier. If your stamina isn’t upgraded yet, consider visiting a few Shrines to boost it before continuing.

Once you arrive at the Gazette building, go inside and talk to the Editor-in-Chief, Traysi, who will officially recruit you into the Gazette staff and start the Potential Princess Sightings quest.

To finish The Beast and The Princess quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you'll need to investigate a rumor about Princess Zelda and a beast she supposedly controls. To begin this, speak with Cima near Lake Floria.

Start by heading to New Serenne Stable, where you’ll find Penn. The stable is located in eastern Hyrule Ridge, northwest of Lookout Landing, southeast of Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower, and west of Hyrule Castle. Alternatively, you can Fast Travel to Sinakawak Shrine, which sits right next to the stable.

We’ve marked its precise location on the map below. The coordinates for New Serenne Stable are (-1352, 0735, 0085).

Once there, talk to Penn, who will share a rumor he heard about Princess Zelda commanding a Large Beast.

After speaking with Penn, your next stop should be a 'Sub-Tropical Region' — specifically, Faron. More precisely, head to Lakeside Stable, which is west of Lake Floria, northeast of Martha's Landing, and southwest of Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower.

Below is the exact location of Lakeside Stable on the map. The coordinates are (1511, -3522, 0060).

Upon arrival at the stable, speak with Anly, the stable owner, to receive a Pony Point (if this is your first visit), and they will mention a nearby creature sanctuary. Then, head to Shay, who lives opposite the stable in a cliffside hut at (1581, -3477, 0060).

Shay will direct you toward the Sanctuary, which lies directly across a large gap between cliffs.

There are multiple ways to cross the gap. We used Zora Armor and glided over using our Paraglider to reach a waterfall near Shay. Since we had the armor equipped, we were able to swim up the waterfall and reach the side of the Sanctuary.

Once safely across, make your way to Cima near the DonDon paddock at (1538, -3359, 0058) to uncover the truth behind the rumor you've been investigating.

After talking with Cima, Penn will reappear and reward you with some well-earned Rupees!
