Your first investigative mystery in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soulless Army leads you into Dark Tsukudo-cho, and after conquering the boss there and returning to the real world, a wealth of optional side quests opens up for Raidou and Gouto-Doji to explore.
Case files are always optional in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soulless Army, but they’re worth pursuing during downtime between missions. You’ll earn excellent loot, massive EXP gains, and other valuable rewards that help strengthen Raidou Kuzunoha’s abilities.
How To Complete Case Files
After exiting Dark Tsukudo-cho for the first time, Gouto-Doji provides numerous clues on where to go next. While the main story directs you to Daidouji Manor to investigate Kaya’s disappearance, you're free to pursue other aspects of the game, including case files — these optional side quests offer many benefits.
Each time you complete one of the game's central mysteries as part of your main investigation through the episodic storyline, you'll notice a blue exclamation mark appear on the overworld map of Tsukudo-cho, indicating the starting point of a new case file. Additional cases become available after each episode and whenever you're informed that your caseload has increased.
Completing these cases will reward you with:
- Yen, which can be used at Kounno-ya to purchase items that restore HP and MAG during combat.
- Fusion materials needed for special demon fusions in the Goumaden.
- Skill Books that teach demons new skills, requiring three sessions to fully learn the skill.
Though completing case files isn't mandatory, and you can finish Raidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soulless Army without doing more than the dog-related file at Tamonten Shrine, earning yen is always useful, so take every opportunity to gather it.

| 13 | Not All Demons Fight | Dark Tsukudo-cho | Speak with the Agathion at the marked location before returning to the real world and using a demon for a Solo Investigation to retrieve an item from Kugizen, near Kounno-ya. Take it to the Nameless Shrine and interact with the tree to the left of the entrance. After a Full Moon passes, return to the tree for a new bug for the Agathion. Return the beetle to the demon in Dark Tsukudo-cho. |
