College Football 26: All Stats, Explained

Jul 15, 2025 am 01:33 AM

Every athlete sets out to dominate their opponents, but the truth is, not everyone is on the same playing field. Whether it's due to superior arm strength, route running ability, or football IQ, some players elevate themselves above the rest, making anyone who lines up against them look like amateurs.

College Football 26: All Stats, Explained

College Football 26 models this skill discrepancy through the use of player ratings. These stats help determine how each person reacts to different situations, and how effective they are when using certain techniques. In total, there are 55 player stats in the game; here's what each one of them does.

What Are General Stats?

College Football 26: All Stats, Explained

There are a variety of stats that apply to all players on your team, regardless of position group. These will give you a good idea of what level of athlete you are working with, and you can gameplan to play to your squad's strengths.

Description

OVR Overall Rating This is mostly a quick shorthand to tell you whether a player is good (the closer to 99 the better). It's important to note that an overall rating is weighted to take into consideration what position each athlete plays, so a linebacker won't be hurt by having poor throwing accuracy, but will massively benefit from good hit power values. SPD Speed Determines how fast a player can move. STR Strength Determines whether a player is able to make/shed blocks, and how effective power moves are. AGI Agility Governs how effectively a player can avoid/make contact. ACC Acceleration Governs how fast a player can reach their top speed while sprinting. AWR Awareness Determines how fast a player will react to the play developing around them. STA Stamina Governs how long a player can play before becoming fatigued. INJ Injury Determines how likely a player is to be injured. The higher the rating, the better a player's health. TGH Toughness Governs how quickly a player can return after being sidelined by injury.
