With the iPhone 16e replacing the iPhone SE as the entry-level model, Apple discontinued the latter. This marks the end of Touch ID, physical home buttons, LCD screens, and Lightning ports on currently available iPhones. Apple no longer sells any phones with screens smaller than 6.1 inches.
Furthermore, Apple is withdrawing its Advanced Data Protection (ADP) feature in the UK, following a government request for a security backdoor. ADP provides end-to-end encryption for iCloud data. It remains available in the US and other regions, for now.
